I have just finished work on a really enjoyable photo shoot for Bintwo wine, champagne and coffee shop in Padstow, Cornwall. The brief was for a series of shots showing the various things that they do, as well as some “non touristy” shots of Padstow.

It was a very pleasant afternoon, and I was very impressed with the owner David’s knowledge of coffeemaking, particularly his ability to make a heart in the top of a cup cappuccino. David was keen for me to appreciate the colours and textures in the espresso, and having taken the shots I gladly polished it off. I can testify it tastes as good at looks. Of course the great thing about food photography is that you get to eat the subject and a delicious glass of champagne and some lovely red were similarly despatched!

The client was please with the results:  “The shots are perfect, exactly what I had in mind, really captured what we do and who we are.”
