Shooting the Surf Cafe Cookbook 2

posted in: Editorial photography | 1
I’ve arrived in Strandhill on the west coast of Ireland to shoot the follow-up to The Surf Cafe Cook Book, Surf Cafe Living.

My goodness it’s windy, but not as cold as the shoot for the first book in December 2011, when there was snow on the mountains. Writer Shannon Denny and I are staying at Jane and Myles Lamberth’s amazing house nestled below Knocknarae mountain.

The new book will have a ton of tasty new recipes but also focus on interior design and coastal living. Jane and Myles have acquired a dog since the last time, Milkshake.

So I’m looking forward to a week of shooting (and eating) amazing food and interesting interiors, beachcombing and of course downing a few pints of Guinness at the end of a long day’s shooting.
You can read about the original shoot here.
